that was on the car hauler trailer this week, parked just south of there on the expressway attached to the truck in front of those apartments. I think its just temp storage
Come on George. That car deserves better than that. I hope that is not what you ended up doing with that Studebaker wagon too.
I didn't abandon it,my brother spotted it on his way to my house after work today. if I abandon the Stude it'll be after it gets the "gallon of gas and a road flare" treatment.
I've got room in the shop for at least 3 more cars, and 4 under the carport! If i was closer i'd give it a roof over it's head.
I certainly agree with that. I can't believe how many on here were shouting to get it. They would be whining, crying and cussing a blue streak if it was theirs and someone took so much as a hubcap let alone the whole car.
I've told it before, but this reminds me of a local Packard story. An old eccentric guy had a 30's Packard parked on the backside of his farm along with a TON of other stuff. Well, needless to say someone decided to liberate the car and give it a better home. About 10 years later the owners daughter (he'd died) got a call from the midwest. Seems someone had restored the car and sold it to someone else. When the buyer went to register the car, the numbers showed up as stolen. She went up and hauled it home no strings attached. Be careful what you do out there, it could bite you in the ***. Larry T
