i never posted an intro but i replied and even started some threads, i'm sorry.

Once upon a time in 1985, i was born. Then i discovered, the internal combustion engine. my brother, my uncle and my cousins were into body work so te car stuff was already around. got dragged to a car show... saw my first lead sled and fell in love. so when i got older, i went to aircraft maintenance school (i like aircraft) cuz i figured "if i can build an aircraft motor, everything else will be easy, right?". stupid young people. anyway, i aced all the cl***es but never got licensed cuz no one will hire you unless you move to middle of nowhere tennessee or something. moving along, the horizontally opposed aircraft engines led me to VW's which i love (give me all the **** you want about this) but i always think back to that sled and thats what i really want. bought a 50 styline deluxe 4 door of of PoPo here on the HAMB, got it delivered to me by exwestracer (also on the HAMB) and now thats my current project.

I know very little about american powerplants and what not but i get the jist of the basics. you put a VW block in front of me and i'll build a 6 sec 1/8th mile motor. you put a V block in front of me and i'm ****in retarded.

i hope to learn a lot (which i alreday have on some topics) from all of you and again, i'm sorry for the late intro.

    thanks,

    bones

p.s. i make flamethrowers for carbureted engines. and i'm working on making voltage reducers and current limiters.

  3. Welcome, now that you have confessed, and done your penance by doing the correct thing --- writing an intro. You can go forward now, without out any bad vibes. Have fun figuring out and building those water cooled engines.
