Well plans have changed. I have to pick something up in Orange less than 5 min from Omega. So I will be there to ride in with you guys.

Question: What time are you guys planning on leaving Omega?

I'm stuck in Cypress until at least 2:30 and don't want to show up if everyone's already left.

The flyer for Mel's says the show is from 4 P.M.-7P.M.

 

Yeah, I saw that. I meant what time is the caravan leaving Omega.

 

From what I understand Bob says they will be leaving Omega by 3pm. Give him a call just to double check.

Just got back from the Mel's show and had a good time. The cruise out with Bad Bob was fun but extremely hot and slow moving. There was a ton of traffic. Here are a few shots.​

Please forgive the poor photography as I was taking the pics as I was trying to drive. Thankfully Bob was driving slow. He said it had something to do with Cruzr not liking Speed.​

A very nice couple in a great looking yellow T joined us as well. I heard this was Cruzr's old roadster.

RCole came along as well with his "just finished racing across the mountain shine running" Fold Coupe

it was fun, but HOT.....the beach air was good. my panel freaking shut down right at the entrance to mels, it doesn't like over 200 deg. it fired up after the show, drove home fine but i did run out of gas in my driveway. i guess the gauges, wiring harness and fan shroud should be next .

i say next cruise we do should be at night (or dusk at least) and have dinner......sorta like the breakfast, for us early morning challenged people.

or cruzer's idea of a canyon crawl.......

 

Too Cool To see Bab Bob rolling in the first hot rod I built, looks like it is gonna get out and about more.

I agree. I like the idea of a cnayon crawl. But lets make it either real early or later in the day when the sun is not beating down on us so bad.

Bob says his coupe has a 10 gallon tank and he had filled in 3 times in less than a week. I woudl say he is out driving it.

Ya it was fun and hot! got to hang with my buddy Randy and it was hot, got to meet Weasel and it was hot my car ran great since I took the wire off the temp gauge, I should have done this years ago, car really runs cool now! I agree we meet at 3am next time!!! hey Randy we still need to go to Stan Betz soon!!!
