I am going to be removing the front flip to clean up the frame and maybe do some front end work. It doesn't look like there's much holding it on. I found the 2 radiator support bolts and what looks like a bolt inside the door hinge area. There must be more. What am I missing? Any tips would be great.
There are three studs on the rear edge of each fender. Top, middle, bottom corner. Don't forget these.
The middle one you can reach with a 3/8 ratchet and 1/2 socket through the door jamb, the top one you'll need a long extension to go through the upper kick panel area.
It's pretty clean so I bet it's still there. So, including the radiator support, how many bolts am I looking for per side. I also noticed one that is at the back of the inner fender right where it meets the frame and cowl. If this is one, than I counting 6 per side - rad sup., cowl/inner fender/frame bolt, the 3 at the back of the fender (top, bottom, lower corner) all accessed from behind door hinges, and the one under the truck somewhere. Is this right six per side? Is it a ***** to get lined back up?
If you are taking it apart its about 100 bolts. If you want to lift the front off as one piece, its the 3 at the back of each fender plus the ones at the radiator
