33-34 fenders on 31 Dodge anyone tried this ?

Want to put fenders/ boards on 31 Dodge cpe, no luck finding anything except 33-34. Anyone tried this, and how did it work out. I know they won't just bolt on, but would like input b4 I spend $$$$. TY Don

 

It's certainly feasible. You will have to build a hood(if you want one) and the gas tank cover. The rear fenders might look a little funky. You will have to make your own tubs or try mounting pickup fenders. Where there is a will there is a way. When I first got my 33 DeSoto I was going to build it into a 33 dodge 3 window. It would have been a lot easier then one might think. luckily though I found all the DeSoto stuff.

 

I wouldn't do it. Look for fenders from the same era - 30-31.
