Sweet car, only problem I have with it are the front wheel wells, but with time constraints who can blame em...still such a *****in car. Greg
Very, very cool pics! The one with Bill Hines sitting in the 'Bat' is priceless! I really like the chevy from the show, but have to agree on the front fenders. With the type of work done to that car, and with the knowledge of the people doing it, i was really suprised they didn't raise them.. To me it just dosn't look right at all. But i don't know anything anyway. Thanks again for the pics. Tony.
I love that car. I'd make sweet love to it I love it so much. And I kind of like the wheelwells. Gives it an even lower look. I could understand how someone would dig them though. I always google over the Winfield fade and how it comes out right. Remember when one of those ****ty mid-90's GMC approved truck "customizers" tried it? Just looked like hell.
Whats wrong with the front fenders? If they were raised then the ar wouldn't look as low and have that in your face look like some of the other "contraversial" cars on here.....
This car is unreal. I really dig the front fenders on this car, there is so much tire shoved up inside and out of sight it makes the car seems that much lower. The grille is something different but compliments the lines of the moulded front. The only thing I'd change is the steering wheel. Other than that, this car is ***s. -'57 Joe
I agree on the front. If you look close it is kind of busy with those square pads sticking out and a couple other un needed protrusions.
Noone thinks it needs a front bumper? With just the gravel pan it looks like the bumper is still at the plater to me.
What a bunch of no talent bums trying to build a custom....the car ****s....the builders ****...the show ****s...John Kerrys hair ****s....McDonalds ****s...Walmart ****s...I ****...you ****...but I LOVE the Pontiac Aztec....(Aztec wheelwells are GREAT!!!)
I don't have near enough experience to critique a car that looks that sick. And given the time they did it in makes it even more rediculous. That car is seriously worth more than anyone would be willing to pay for it. Shoot if music fans can bid over $3K on some left over pancakes from Justin Timberlakes plate, on ebay, then us car freaks must be willing to pay millions for this ride.....jmo
Beautiful car but I'm not diggin' that tube grille. I would have used maybe a desoto or some other toothed grille. Maybe even leave the stock grille but at some dagmars or sumthin. My 3 cents
this is a good time for me to ask about how the west coast calls hot rods "whips". is that an oldschool term, only west coast? or even still, is that made up by jesse james? anyone else calls them "whips"?
Just curious: How long did it ACTUALLY take that car to get to the state we see it in these pictures..........when you add in the upholstery and paint and wait for chroming? Just curious, as to knowing that most professional shops take at least a few months for the quick turn-around cars. I like it.
That was an outstanding episode. It was so great to see all those guys doing their thing. I normally don't dig that show but was really glad to catch that episode. That was some bad *** section.

[/ QUOTE ] 'Whips' was coined by the rap/hip hop scene but I'm guessing by now that it has permeated the 'hip' cultures of most major cities. Especially SoCal. That's probably why you're hearing it.
