need 1956 olds cowl plate decoded

    can anyone help me decode this 1956 oldsmobile style56-363990 bodyfm040trim375 paint S10-60 top acc

    BF Framingham Massachusetts
    BK Kanas City Kanas
    BL Linden NewJersey
    BC South Gate California
    BW Wilmington Delaware
    CL Cleveland Ohio
    BT Arlington Texas
    numbers = production number

    trim = i don"t know

    paint=10 = black 60 = white

    top===? acc===?
    plate on inside of driver door post = first two numbers is the year,third is series 7 = 88
    8 = super 88
    9 = 98 rest are serial numbers

    The paint code, 1st 2 numbers are the lower colour, 2nd 2 are the upper colour. And the white here is "Alcan White" which is more cream than white.
    Find someone with a workshop manual (afraid mine is back in New Zealand), that has the rest of the code .
    Good luck from another 56 Olds owner.

    HELP on my 56 olds 88 the cowl tag has 50/60 for the paint code. thanks

    50 is Sterling Gray Metallic
    60 is Alcan White
