I have a '68 Ford automatic brake pedal in my rod . It is 5" wide BUT I am a left foot braker and need a pedal that is 6" wide or a little more to get it to the left side of the steering column. Know of anything. I'm ONLY talking about the pedal and pad itself,I made the actual pedal.

Mine IS behind the column. But almost all of the pad is on the right side of it because of where the actual pedal comes through the floor.

Could you cut the pedal off and move it over to the left?

Can you bend the pedal itself? if not, you can make a new pedal though if its a screw on pedal you may not have room. I made my pedal ***embly myself so it sits just to the right of the column

  6. If I remember right, the big Chrysler vehicles in the '60s and '70s had brake pedals that were about 9 or 10 inches wide.
