I just moved to South Carolina from Colorado. I am gonna be going back to get my 63 C10 it has some rust in the cab corners and other areas, how quick do things tend to rust out here. Just wondering if it will be a issue if not taken care of right away.

Columbia ain't too close to the ocean,,a couple of hours away.

Your advantage in the midlands of Columbia is that the roads don't see too much salt,,,plus there are a few really nice Hambers living in that area. HRP

As a general rule ... the SNOW line is about Newberry SC ... and the area from Newberry South rarely sees SNOW. With no snow, no salt on the roads. Cars will rust ... but it is NOT a major issue here.
