DFW Area - Reamer availability F100 King Pins

    Tried to get my Spindles reamed this weekend by Mr. Bob Wilson. He did not have the
    required Reamer, .860 Diameter. Would anyone have one available to borrow/rent/ in the Dallas area? I am try'n to get my 54 F100 back on the road. I also have T-Shirts available if you want some of those also?

    Why not try Max Long's place, Warehouse automotive on Irving Blvd. they might be able to hone them to size. It would be much more accurate than reaming anyway.

    Take them to Safety Lane in Garland Tx, they can hook you up

    any reputable restoration or fab shop will have one ,also any machine shop. thats a common # .dallas brake & spring .don ross fabrication , garland safety lane . maybe sachse rod shop . i also have one but im a bit far away .c

    Neal, you can buy the set at Harbor Freight, it's actually a decent set, my friend bought it for his F-100 KPs but he's down in Austin.

    almost any machine shop that has a Sunnen hone for honing rods should be able to hone them for you. It should be under a 30 minute process start to finish to do both if you have the bushings in them. And as the others mentioned, a lot better fit.
