Like Ryan said, we're all coming. Just gotta figure out in what. Looking forward to the hotdogs in Wichita. Always a highlight making a rest stop at the Artist at Large headquarters.

I'll be taking my normal 100's of pics there, and I think I'm going to try to get 3 cameras set up to record the drags then edit some of them together and post them somewhere. Just have to get permission to set one up behind the flag man looking down the track :D

I agree with Gary, there is no decision, the Willys for sure.
Would be so cool to see it screaming down the "track" at the airport on Friday night.

I would love to bring the Willys, but there are a couple of complications. first, I have yet to test/tune and my schedule is not going to allow it to happen before I leave for Kansas, second, I will be bringing the two place open trailer due to the opportunity to earn some $$$ hauling a truck to nearby Gypsum, KS. Seems to me that same town is the home of the Purveyor of Ancient Iron or something like that. Anyway, I would not be cool with the Willys riding and sleeping on an unsecured open trailer. Sorry. Perhaps the good ol' faithful red/white 56 Chevy will visit yet another State?

I have a secure building where you could keep the Willys locked up close the show grounds Bob...........but otherwise the 56 would be cool too. Here is a photo of it I took recently. Dang that thing is tall. Looks like a 4WD. :D <center>

I say he needs a big rig transporter to bring them all. It only takes money.

WHERE is the "cruise nite"...??? We'll be pulling into Salina Thursday afternoon, hopefully...IF the Caddy(s) decides it wants to get there ('54 Caddy has new engine/tranny with about 1000 miles on it, '55 Caddy w/500" is questionable (used engine --no idea if it'll go 8 hours straight and a new tranny) and the '56 Caddy has a new engine/tranny with about 125 miles on it...)...THIS trip ought to be a real road adventure...!!!

I'll post some new info very soon. Our typical cruise night is different on the eve of this event each year. Will let you all know. You will all be welcome of course.

Yes that would really suck,I'm afraid the pager would accidently fall into the toilet.

Update. Our cruise night will gather at 6 or so at the South 9th area of Salina near WalMart at Wendy's. This is just off I-135 and about 6 miles south of I-70. We usually leave there at 7 PM and will drive a few miles together ending up at Dairy Queen parking lot on north 9th which is not that far from the host motel and show grounds. We will be parked there from 7:30-9:00 or so. It is informal and we get around 40 cars so join us if you in town Thursday night.

Gonna miss ya Kerry. Try to sneek away for just a couple of hours to say hi. If not, I guess I'll see you at the HAMB Drags next month.

New update. Bright Built Hot Rod Shop is having an open house and hamburger feed on Thursday night for car show participants starting about 5:30. They have moved to a big new shop about 5-6 miles west of Salina on old Highway 40. If you know where the Log Cabin Motel is on Broadway (not far from the show and host motel), you would go west there on Old 40 to their shop. They have a big sign. You can always go to Dairy Queen after that and visit with the cruisers. That is most likely what I will be doing.

Looks like we will have six of us heading up to Salina early Friday morning.
After we pick up Jack (Yblock292) in Wichita we should have, who knows
how many will end up in our convoy.

Kan't wait to get up there.......

    Happy Trails,

    Mick
