World of Outlaws is usually in town during SEMA, and there is an NHRA drag race with finals on the 31st.
SEMA Show is the largest automotive trade show for aftermarket parts on the planet. You need to go just to see the crazy **** everybody brings out!
Very cool - I've wanted to get to one of the SEMA shows, but never seemed to make it to Vegas at the right time. I'll have to try & make it... Of course, the Crown & Anchor for a pint of Guinness is a must - and a visit to In-n-Out Burger & Fat Burger too!! Can't forget Memphis BBQ outside the Nellis gate either! Lots of good eats! I have been there a few times When I'm away, I like to eat at places I can't eat back home - try the local stuff as it were. I also like to hunt out stuff off the strip instead of the typical traps. I used to like Tommy Rockers on a Fri/Sat when Tommy used to actually do his bit - last time I went (4 yrs ago), Tommy wasn't playing & it was kinda **** - haven't been back since. Kev, Damn - for want of a week! Wonder if I can finagle a reason to hang out an extra week?
