Another Seafoam Green question...

    Okay I'm cosidering Seafoam geen on my fenderless coupe with exsposed engine but here's the rules;
    1. Firewall will be black because "back when" cars that did get painted were just masked off and painted.
    2. Underside of car will be black for same reason as # 1.
    3. motor will not be black, white or seafoam.


    What color would look good on motor?

    grey/silver/white/off white any of the light neutrals.

    I would go with a dark green. If you have polished or plated parts on the engine the darker colors make them really stand out and will draw in attention to the little details, not the block.

    i am painting my car a similar color but i am painting my motor seafoam but with flattened clear
    just a an idea

    I'd second the dark green on the motor but maybe kick around something besides black on the firewall. I do love seafoam though...

    cuz in the end you have to drive it !!! who cares what anyone else thinks


    but yeah i the seafoam sounds like it will look pretty killer !

    When I was a kid they painted the "juvenile officers" cars a shade of Green close to Sea foam..
    I hated to see that color coming down the street, on anything...
