Event Coverage Drag bash

Here are a few pics from the drag bash in knoxville tn. Last saturday.

Had a pretty good turnout considering the heat, but there was a nice breeze blowing up the valley that felt good. I took the old Model T and was going to get my Son to bring the Anglia, but he had something going on and didn't make it. I put a 4:11 and spool in the T and it got off the line a lot better. They didn't have the clock's working so don't know how much it picked up. Ran a hot Mustang and beat him by a couple car's tho. The old truck with the turbo really got down the track, had basically a stock 350 with lots of boost. The Corvette was an original drag car that was saved.
The Mustang Coupe is Jeff Chapman's, he started with a clapped out junker and built a nice car. They did a photo shoot of it and the Corvette after the show for an upcoming magazine article.
