Hope it hasn't been asked before, but I searched the seven pages available under his and her's hoping not to duplicate. The wife and I have enjoyed matching cars several times. We shared a pair of 68 Camaros and 69 Darts (GT & *******), But now we drive a pair of 1955 Oldsmobiles. Bought my 2 door sedan first, but finished her Holiday hardtop first and caught grief when I'd drive it without her as it does look more like a girls car. But I've got my sedan on the road now and have made it through the first 1,000 miles in good shape. Interior get's finished this week, black and reflame later. But it's cool to be able to drive this pair together and explain that they are virtually one in the same. Anyone else have a pair ?
I had mine and mine 49 Chevies for a while. I was gonna say his and his... but that don't sound right to me. I didn't want any confusion.
I've had his and his cars several times too. Too many cars is a fact of life for me, but under control at the moment. But there is something cool about having his and her's. A friend of mine just finished up his wife's chopped and flattie powered 29 A pick up and he's starting on his 48 Anglia. Not a match like my wife and I, but still cruising together/seperate. Sure is cool when the other half approves, helps and drives too. Even in a match race, both cars still come home..........lol
I was going to do the same thing ratfink, I'm glad to see someone else has a mine and mine pair! I have a pair of 1962 Mercury Meteors and a pair of 1962 Ford Fairlanes, but mind you in each set one is a project and one is for parts. Thanks! Tom - Gl***_Packs
My wife and I both have '54 pickups. Hers is a Chevy 1/2-ton and mine is a GMC 1-ton. Neither are anywhere near finished.
Me too. Except without the parts cars yet. Also a pair of 48 F1's, and a pair of IHC KB2's. I don't think my wife would care to drive any of them....she wants an H3
I've got a pair of 48 trucks: F1 and F6 Also a pair of 52 trucks: F2 and F6 ......but like Havi, my wife won't drive them. Our his/hers aren't forum friendly. Hers: '07 white Fusion and His: '07 black Shelby GT
My first pair are non HAMB friendly but they are a 69' Firebird 400/4spd convertible and a 69' Firebird 400/T400 Coupe w/air. My HAMB friendly project pair are a 29' Chevy coupe and a 29 Chevy roadster. I'm single so they are also a mine/mine
