Close, Pete Chapouris' T. I was shocked to see it and Pete at the Boerne rod run. The Car was built twenty something years ago and still looks great, both quality and style wise.
Anyone remember the story of how the custom plate on the Pete Chap (SP) 27t got it's letters and the significance?? One of those pieces of trivia I will never need.
I know the car was built for either Pete or Jake's dad. That was about all I picked up. Pete and the car will be at the Round Up, I'll do a little investigatin.
If I remember the story correctly Pete's mother was named Doris. The license plate is her name backwards. SIROD...
Pogo, Funny you should ask. Half the flattys out there came from Cal. Marc's motor was built by Steve Beck. Jim Jards car was buily by the Kennedy brothers. Fellow Baron Andy has one in a 32'. There may have been 3 more out of all 300 or so cars. Jim's car doesn't even have a fan. He's one braaaave dude. BTW We wish you were here too!

Steve I had a blast too. Thanks for the invite. You may be shocked, but someday my car will be in gloss. The car looks great man congrats on getting it together. I may be a bit iffy for the Round Up. My wife is with greaser and is expecting right around that time. In less the baby is born that day, I will plan on being there Saturday atleast. Hopefully I'll make all 3 days. I love that show. It's always a great place to catch up with people and meet new folks.
