Ya once the trunk is done then the big stuff is complete. Still have to work the fenders, floor, firewall, etc.

Almost got the opening finished. Just got to finish weld the passenger piece, and then make the driprails.

Is that a larger than original trunk opening? When I redo my '36 (rumble seat), I'd like to convert it to a trunk but with the opening more resembling the trunk of a '40 Ford coupe.

The top of the opening is in the same place, and the bottom of the opening is also in stock location. Its the sides and the size, and radius of the corners that I've changed.

Wow...your metal working skills are amazing. Do you use a shrinking disk?

I just finished this pencil rendering of a 35 Cabriolet, and I now understand why you changed the trunk lines and I like what you did with the lower panel! Your work is superb!!!

That's funny cause I call this drawing "Sunburn"! It does look like something from a cartoon. Like some underwater creature or a bug... Ed

    That drawing is absolutely amazing.

Until someone said it was a drawing, I thought it was a photograph.

    VERY well struck sir!

That's amazing. You really do some rad work over there and I wished I could have seen it in person when we went to Bonneville. Next year perhaps.....

I wish I could afford to let you loose on my '32 5 Window. It definitely could use a metal smith like yourself.

Chris did you have any straight-on side profile shots of this car after you had chopped it? I'm chopping a '35 3 window next week and I'm using this thread as one of my references- I think it'll come in very handy! Thanks in advance- -P40-
