I was on a part/car hunting trip in OK. When we stoped by a guys house my buddy was buying a car from. An unasumming house on a good size property with some cars scattered aroun the yard. Some cool cars nothing to rare 40's 50's and 60's when he showes us he has a underground parking garage. It was a pretty big parking garage enough room for 50 cars. some of my pics didnt come out but heres what I got. This was a fiberglass rodster made in the 60's had a sweet tri powered lincoln. Nice ford in badass shape. A couple more survivors in incedible condition the half a car was a Muntz he said one of nine in existance the othe pics of it didnt come out. Yet another Jag engines look cool this one was nice. Shamefully the rest of the pics didnt come out but he had a ton of rare cars. One of the nicest guys I've meet latley. Just happy to run into a young guy that apreciated his cars. I want that 38 bad he also had this sweet buick. Well thats it just thought I'd share my pics.
So now we've gotta hunt for underground lairs too??!! Damn... That roadster is very cool. Thanks for sharin'. For more on the Muntz: click here..... Seems they made around 400, although he may have one of the last. Some were aluminium, some steel, some part fibreglass.
It was probably one of the 49 in that article he had 3 muntzes (how do you do plural Muntz). I was amazed at all the complete unmolested cars.I wish more pics came out.
Man, I'm diggin the garage...how did he get an underground bunker like that? some kinda ex-military structure?
The top one is a woodhill wildfire, I've seen them with everything from a V8-60 up. I think they were built in a boat shop in Pasadena Ca. The Muntz that I drove the shit out of was lincoln powered also. Muntz ran different engines also. damn nice driving car in the 50's
I have no idea where in Ok we were so I couldnt tell you if it is shawnee I was just along for the ride. I Dont know why there was a parking garage on his property its in middle of the country. I dont think he had it built.
