I am working on my 1936 chevy p/u. i have got the front end down as low as i want it and am now trying to figure out the rear end. What set up would be best for this to be a daily driver. I have been thinking that i want to change the size of the humps in frame then get some straighter leaf springs or run a four link with coil-overs. Let me know what you guys think and what you have tried. thanks Eric
Take the leaf packs apart, clean the springs with a wire wheel and remove the second and fourth longest leaves. Apply a light film of lithium grease to the remaining leaves and re***emble. Check the ride height and add or subtract leaves as necessary to get it where you want. Unless you're really hammering it on launch, this usually works well.
