Kano Kroil ... best I have seen ... That said I had to bust the pistons with a sledge hammer and a one inch thick rod ... rings were rusted to the cylinder walls ... If you can get the valves, lifters and camshaft out you might have a chance ... I have heard of people freeing them up but I am 0 for 2 so far.

Is the engine out and for sure stuck. I had a 36 that I thought was stuck but found out the clutch plate had rusted and stuck to the flywheel and wouldn't allow the engine to turn over. I started pulling the engine and heard it break loose so I ****oned it back up and it started right up.

Wow. Nice car. I'd pull it and go thru it, certainly looks worthy of some effort.

Hook a chain to it behind a truck. Get it going about 30 or so MPH and let the clutch out. Its either going to pop loose or come apart.

That car looks awfully clean for the motor be all that hung up.

See if you can get a socket and a breaker bar on the crank nut and work it a bit. Also, you can pull the starter and use a large screwdriver to work the flywheel. I pulled a 50 F3 in gear about 20-30 feet and it came loose and fired right up after sitting over 30 years. You just never know but I would try to get it freed up while in the car first. Another more risky method that works is jack up one side of the car and get the crank nut socket/breaker bar positioned just so and then slowly let the jack down. I have done this and it worked for me but most guys think it is crazy.

Thanks for the ideas. I have tried pulling it but it just locked up the rear tires. Then I got a gallon of pb blaster and gave all the cylinders a drink. Will give it a few days or weeks and try again.

give the p blast some time to work i had the same problem once and i sprayed it into the cylinders(spark plug holes) everyday for a week until it freed itself up and take a socket on a rachet and gentley move it left to right with no spark plugs in the motor it will crank eventually

make shure the car is in neutral .....and if you cant get it to work take it out and ill have it

Heat. Remove thermostats and drain oil. Direct heat lamps on motor. After motor is hot add Hot water to cooling system and add hot penetrationg oil poured in the spark plug holes. Overfill oil pan with hot oil. Keep it hot by leaving heat lamps on, playing torch on exhaust manifolds, drain water and add more hot water. Apply constant heat to oil pan exterior with household clothes iron placed against side/bottom of pan.

That is if you want to screw around and ignore the obvious.

Taking the motor apart would be my way of doing it.

Get hold of a pressure washer and blast the pressure into the plug holes. Hold the rubber wand tip tight as you can to contain the pressure. That'll break most engines loose.
When you are trying the "towing in gear" thing, put it in high gear and get several buddies to rock it back and forth, hard. Often they'll turn backwards easier than forwards.
