Sorry for the kind of ****y post, but I'm sure the other model kit builders here on the HAMB will rejoice at these being available again!! No more scrounging garage sales and eBay for them!!

Go on eBay and get the '90s reissue "Early Iron" '30 phaeton (red w/black fenders) with the 3-deuce SBC and chrome slots, swap the bodies with the stock coupe, then swap-on wheels and tires from the Lil' Coffin (or any Monogram WW piecrust kit) and you have a killer A-bone coupe. Retro-fit the Monogam Deuce roadster kit's grille too if you want.

I remember REALLY wanting a Monogram A-coupe kit in the early '70s but it was out of production. Then in 1974 Monogram finally reissued the stock version in green, as seen in the new release, as well as the yellow/black fenders cabriolet kit. Monogram also reisssued the phaeton in street rod form at about the same time and I was off to the races! Did the swap above to get a rodded coupe and a stock phaeton. Still have unbuilt '74-'75 versions of all three kits.

Thanks for the heads up. I originally built on just like the photo and box art.
Later I saw American Graffiti and things began to happen. It never got finished and I've been restoring it lately. Here's how it looks right now:

(sorry for the ****py photo quality)

Cool. I just picked up the 29 pickup three in one to make a roadster pickup out of like I want to build the real roadster pickup I just picked up.

This is a great old kit with tons of potential. Here's one I've got in progress as a chopped A-V8 with parts from about five other 1/24th scale kits.

Nothing ****y about it, El Scotto. I was pretty excited to hear of it. I'm going to get a few to try out different ways to finish my '30 coupe. Thanks.
