1957 Chevy Truck

    Here are a few images of my friend Dan's truck. She has been stripped to the bare frame and completely rebuilt.Dan has done all of the work on this truck himself except for spraying the paint.This is the culmination of several year's worth of spare time....and it is not done yet.

    Some updates include:

    GM 10.5 " rear differential
    Spicer 60 front differential
    TH 400 tranmission
    New Process 205 transfer case
    Late model Dodge power steering box
    New,never fired, 1971 LS6 454
    Factory Corvette cast iron headers


    Other than the dust and a few loose ends ,this truck looks like brand new.

    Be pretty hard to fire that LS-6 since there is no distributor installed:p I hope his plans for the future include cutting down his air cleaner stud. Other than that it's pretty clean for being in alaska.

    Looks like a great truck to drive in Alaska. I hope the heater works! That rear axle is massive!

    Not really on topic, but I love those early 4x4s. Is it a real Napco or done later?
