I wouldn't use steel wool on gl*** unless I wnated it to look like a frosted bathroom windo. Thinner, rag and elbow grease.

After you think you have gotten it clear use some detailers clay to get the rest off.

acetone and a cheese cloth. careful not to let the acetone run onto the paint though. Works great.

A little brake fluid (Don't get it on the paint!) let sit, will take almost anything off with no scrubbing.

  15. SOS pads, never scratched a window yet, just don't be stupid and put a bunch of pressure on it. i have scratched windows with a razor blade before, always use new and if ya clip something with it get another one, it will put a gouge it it and then it will scratch.

polish it off then wax it.Cant scratch it, and the added bonus is water wont stick to your windshield, and it wont fog on the outside as easy. If you use a razor, round off the edges of the blade first

That Turtle Wax spray wax works really good with a clay bar, and smells good too.

So, theres a million ways to get it off. How thick is it first off? If its a mist, use a OOO steel wool, superfine, you could go to sleep on a bed of that ****. If its very thick...take and s****e the corners off a razor blade only in one direction. then use it the opp. way that you s****ed. Ive been in the paint buisiness a couple years...

If there are heavy spots, I'll catch that with a razor blade first; than a lacquer rag and 000 steel wool.
