Okay all you hot rodders. I have a sbc in my Model A. The radiator outlet tube is on the p***. side of the pump (typical). My Radiator tube is on the lower Drivers side. Is there a different water pump I can use or a special hose? How do I make the connection? What have you guys done? Help please.

one suggestion is to take the radiator to a Rad. shop and have the outlet relocated where you need it..Shorter hose , less h***el.
or make up your own rad hose with some radiator hose and stainless tube the right size.or what ever you have,.but i think it would look like **** running behind your front cross member and be very close or in the way of your fan or crank pulley

I joined two hoses together. The one on the radiator I found one with the right bends , and the one on the water pump a flexible one, but had to go down under the oil pan,put a piece of exhaust pipe with radiator clamps to join them together. Looks a little strange but it works.

Yea I cursed a bit doing mine, but it is doable. I cam off the pump with a hose that had a bend in it, about 12" long. That gave me a shot between the spring and axle. Then I used a very similar looking piece off the rad and joined the two with some tubing.

Yeah. I don't really want to re-route the hose. Not a lot of room down there. The Rad shop may be the way to go. I thought maybe there was a sbc pump with the rad tube on the drivers side (like a ford), but haven't being able to find anything.
