I want to know if yall can help me with a 65 olds cutl***? I know it’s newer than what’s here but I’m lost.

The cutl*** is a 65 convertible that was purchased new by my Grandfather. He gave the car to me five years ago, just now am I trying to get it up and going. I have run into some problems.
1- Engine identification? What’s in it?
    2- Transmission identification?
3- New and used parts. The interior has bucket seats with a center console. The auto trans shifter had a tee handle I need a new handle, steering wheel,
4- exterior parts windshield wiper motor, carburetor, intake manifold ( I was told the motor in it was a 330 I purchased two intakes from edelbrock #3711&#7111 neither fit, the width spacing of the bolt holes is about an 1/8” too wide.
5- I live in west Georgia. Does anyone know of specialized Oldsmobile Intelligence in Ga ie: shops, parts house, clubs, swap meets..and so on?
Seems to me that olds in this year is almost odd. I can’t get anyone who seems to know anything about this car. If you Google 1970 442 its nonstop info overload. Due the same with 1965 olds cutl*** and it’s just dead ends as far as parts go. This car is in what I would call great condition it just needs a few minor parts replaced and then a weekly drive.
    I’m at a dead end.

    Thank You

Fellow Olds dude! Yeah good luck on the early year Cutli (that's plural for Cutl***). Try USA Parts supply 1-800-872-2013, Original Parts Group 1-800-243-8355, and Fusick 1-860-623-1583. The '65 is even worse than the '66 I have, and I can't find **** for mine! I think the dash is the same. The 350 olds intake is a different than the 400-425-455. Were your heads milled? Good luck!

wish I had your problem!!I have a 65 cutl*** project car,I've found most of my parts. now put it together. hard to find parts? well it's not a belly ****on car. if you want one like every one has ........the 330 4brl carb engines were ulta high compresion,10.25 CR, toro cam,and 315 HP they were not big block power, but ran hard!!!! Mine ran mid 14's w/4 speed in '72. the transmision you have may be a switch pitch torq. converter think of it as a stall converter only when you smash yer gas!!!!

Engine should be a 330ci. Any intake 330-350-403 will fit. Shouldnt be anything weird there.

Trans should be a 2-speed "Jetaway" (powerglide) if it's an auto. Get a BOP th350, it's a direct swap.

Anything '64/5 Olds A-body is hard to find....but some of it is out there and some '66/7 stuff is close enough to work.
