Well, I've been lurking for over 2 years now and I suppose it is time to introduce myself. My real name is Andy. As my name suggests, I've recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and have been working for over a year at a ***anium manufacturing facility in the greater Philadelphia area. During my 4 years of earning my degree I joined the schools Formula SAE team. Our group of 10 students designed and built single seat open-wheeled race cars (one a year). I learned basic fab and machine skills through trial and error. After more than a year away from fabrication and cars I've gotten the itch. I've made the decision to begin searching out my first project. A 1935-41 Ford truck. So, if anyone in the greater Philadelphia area has any leads on a solid body/frame, I would appreciate any help. I'm not afraid to weld and grind and I'm working on a budget (still acquiring the necessary tools). Thanks for listening (or skipping to the end, which ever you chose to do).
