Wouldn't it be neat to make the louvered panel removable - maybe with some tabs with countersunk holes to screw it to the edges of the decklid......

or.. get another decklid - have one with louvers and one without.

louver it is. but when i got started i couldn't get it to line up wright and come to find out the last row is spaced out a 1/4 of an inch wider.[IMG] should i cut out the sixth row and just go with 5 or cut out a 1/4 inch and weld it back? kinda wonder if i cut and weld it back if it will be noticeable.

well i still want to louver the deck lid. i tried to use the panel i had but it turned out badly. i could make a whole thread on ''HOW NOT TO LOUVER A DECKLID'' if i wasn't so in barest about how bad it went. so i got a new deck lid skin and im going to send it off to be louvered

  8. I cant see the differance from the picture. can you really notice the spacing differance?

The37Kid obviously speaks from experience...and don't forget about the over-spray...spray the inside, over-spray on the outside...spray the outside, over-spray on the inside. You will get to know each individual louver intimately.

  13. louvers leak water , attract insects, are hard to sand but fuck they look shithot.
