So here's what I got: 1 Willys Overland sedan body front (solid except for the doors wich will be getting remade) and 1 steel model A grille shell, not bad eh. The first pictures were taken just after i brought her home, the last was taken a few days later after i cut off all the crap i didn't want, chopped the windshield and straightened her out. I plan to make it into a Willys Roadster Pickup using only 1950's parts and older. I've got alot of shoebox ford parts that will be going into her (steering box, column, steering wheel, rearend, brakes, doorhandles etc.) Also notice in the first few pics the ww2 bomber seat back that I found in a veterans junk pile. I'll be using it for a template for the seats in the Willys. I'm only 18 so i've got some time to work on her, I'll post progress pics every few weeks.
Thanks, here's a quick question: How traditional is using 1950 ford sedan leaf springs on the rear of a RPU? I thought about doing A transverse but the 50 ford are here and free.

So the Willys is coming along, I got the rust cut out and welded patches in. Since i hate bondo I just left them unsmoothed. I wire wheeled the whole body free of red rust then tremclad red primed and painted it flat black, it still needs a few more coats. The pictures are a mockup I just did with most of the parts i have. I'm leaning more toward bucket and less RPU. Next im gonna put in the floor support and build the box for the rear. This is definately going to be one traditional beater.
