quick starter question

    Will a starter from a 250ci chevy six work on a 350? Thanks!
     
  2. i may be wrong , but i believe it will if you use a 153 tooth flexplate

    Sounds right to me. Most 350s have the 168 tooth flywheel on them...and they usually take more torque to spin over, so the motors are heavier duty.

    Thanks. I'm not sure which flexplate I have. I have a TH350 trans though.

    Did your starter bolt to the bellhousing or block that's two different starter noses

    TH350...starter bolts to the block.
