For a town of 14k, this show just gets better and better. Heard there were over 600 cars by 9:00 a.m. today and shooting for 1k. If you're anywhere in N. IL, WI, IN, IA you need to think about taking this in next year the last full weekend in July. Movie with pics of a few of the cars today.
I got there about 930 and was #629 and got stuck in the back. I was in a little parking lot with not much action.. Oh well it was fun either way! And sycamore may only have 14k but Dekalb has a lot more, even if you don't count the college kids.. Draws a good crowd though!
Good video. That show is a good time no matter what kind of cars your in to. Hot rod ch***is & cycle display was pretty cool.
Thanks man, I really enjoyed that! Didn't have to click through 100+ pics. Just sat back and watched...
Hi there Goober, great video/photo's, some neat looking rides there. Just one silly question... what is the music in the video ? Kiwi Helrod
It's one of the three YouTube instrumental tracks that matched the video length -- called Legend of 89Ford by Musicshake (which must be some generic music factory because they have a hell of a lot of offerings as YouTube audio). Thought it would be better to have some type of background audio rather than none, especially since it's a nice free option.
cool video got pictures of my 59 and my dads 34 and the last shoot is my brothers 40 stude. had a great time
Thanks for the pictures! Looks like a great show. I'm kickin myself for not having my poop in a pile Sunday and making the short trip from my place to Sycamore.
Thanks for the feedback. Was also so impressed by Zenor's "Space Chimp" that I had to cover it in a short video -- while trying to brush back the crowd around it.
Wow! Very cool shots, and thanks for the nice vid of my coupe. The Sycamore show is a great time. Hundreds of nice cars in a very laid-back small town atmosphere.
Thanks. One car I've been fascinated with the last couple years at this show is the Ward Anderson roadster that I understand was built in the 50s and is just like it came out of a half-century time warp. Very cool! Dig the '51/2 Olds optional steering wheel with the self-winding clock/watch built into the horn ring.
