Hi, my name is Rob Reid and have found my gearhead eutopia. The threads I have looked at makes me think I will fit here quite well.Last year I bought a 1929 dodge 4 door sedan complete in pieces, with the idea to make it into a phantom woodie. This project I hope to have my two sons, 8 and 9, help me with as one is creative and the other is very mechanical.

My idea for the rod is as follows a 1941 chrysler straight 8 electronically injected and twin turboed , hemi 4 speed , and a jag rearend .The motor details yet to be worked out but I think doable. I like the idea of old school rods with a touch of new technology. The frame will be scratch built with an ifs front end so the car can handle, I am trying for the best of both worlds even with that big hunk of iron up front. But by god with help of my boys we will get her built.

Thanks jn6047 for the interest I think will be alot of fun and games but my house at the moment takes priority , the dodge is my carrot and yes Iam the donkey wanting it. My wife knows the car will make me get the lead out of my ass. Rob
