A foghorn??? Wow! Was it factory installed?? If it was, your Henway
must have had the super-ultra-rarer-then-rare "Foghorn-Leghorn"
'special edition' option package that included rich Corintheon leather
racing stripes, a zebra-striped padded vinyl top, dual right and
left-hand side curb feelers, deluxe reflector-equipped mudflaps and factory
installed J.C. Whitney Fire-Injector spark plugs! Sorry to hear that it
couldn't cross the road but that was a problem common to all late
    '40's- to-mid- '50's Henways.:D:D

The car in front of the bar is definitely a '46 Chevy Fleetline 4 door sedan, also known as the German Helmet. It's not a Fleetmaster, they don't have that much of a hump in the trunk. And as someone pointed out, the bumper and the "wings" on the trunk handle indicate a '46.

I'm not sure it's a Chevy. The taillights look too square to me and it could be an Olds. Look at the bumper on this car too. Looks just like the one in the photo above .....

Did Oldsmobile make the German Helmet too? I know Buick did but am not sure about the other GM cars.

    I think it's a 49-52 Chevy.

on the side is not a 49 52 chevy. I;m thinking mopar.

as for the chevy 4 door. the year can be figured by th style of center folding bumper guard. I forget which is which but I think that's early.. like 42.

that is of course unless I'm wrong. then it's late. unless there is only one for all of them. then it don't matter.

Don't forget that a major amount of the Henway ***embly production was taken up with the '44 military 30.5 cubic inch "***ualt motorcycle" program.
