Had a great time. Picked up Denise at the Omaha airport thursday nite and headed out super early with dolsen37 and a few other Omaha guys friday morning for Salina. Weather was picture perfect for a morning roadtrip and got to Salina around 10am. Povertyflats took a bunch of us out for burgers at a cool little old school hambburger joint downtown (Thanks Paul) walked around the show and headed out to the drags around 6pm. The drags are always a blast but this year seamed to have alot more late model stuff than past years even a couple tuners and just didn't seem quite as cool as past years. Then Nosurf had us all meet at a great BBQ place for dinner (Thanks Jay)
Saturday was awesome, this show attracts so many outstanding customs it's mind boggling. Got to talk with Jeff Meyers (Fink'd) for awhile and see all the fresh customs that came out of his shop this year, really nice work Jeff and was good to see you. Saturday nite about 30 of us went to a chicken restaurant just outside of Abilene, about a 25 mile drive set up again by Nosurf. Can't begin to think of all the names that were there but a great crowd and thanks to all of you who came and made it a fun time.
Sunday morning back to Omaha in time to make it to the Bonneville send off party for the South Omaha Boys and there Studebaker race car. Good luck at speedweek guys. Only got a few pic's in before my camera battery took a shit but here they are. Salina is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. If you've never been you should make it in 2010. Gary

I was surprized to see HRLC Denise at the S.O.B. send off party.I think George Roseland is 82 and he and the S.O.B's are heading to the salt flats to push their 41 studeabaker to 200 mph. They blew up last year north of 170mph.Thats my grandson sitting in the pilots seat.

  18. X-D, is that the cool cat in the drivers seat that had that bad boy chopper bike at World O Wheels? He is properly addicted to hot rods, nice work man!! ~Sololobo~
