This lil Alfa Romeo belongs to my 14 month old nephew :) There were more pictures being taken of the pedal car than the truck it was in, 1954 Chevy truck with a factory hydramatic.

PM me and I'll get you more pics if you want. It is a buddy's car. Kinda cool, "barn find" from the original owners.

It was awesome seeing everyone. I'm a little upset I didn't see the underslung modified there, but oh well.

Great pics!!! You saw a whole lot of cars I totally missed!!! I suppose that's what ya get when you go on a limited budget and have to cut the show short! We were there for 27 hours, I got overr a hundred and sixty pics, some of your pics are what I caught, but some of them I never even saw!!! Thanks

The engineering work and detail was some of the best i have ever seen, every piece of the ch***is looked like a work of art, and he is a young guy and very talented to say the least! Nice guy to talk to .

im not disputing that, but its pretty obvious where the design came from...

id be pretty frusterated if i built a car like the deaths doorstep, and then someone took my design to build theyre own

Yes, this car is similar in appearance to Littleman's Death's Doorstep. It is, by no means, a 'copy'. Study the two and you'll see differences, especially in the ch***is and engines.

Sure, the owner/builder of this coupe may have been inspired by Death's Doorstep -- I'd say great, good for him, he put some hard work and skills/talent into this car!

I don't have any old little books to check out, but I'm sure Dave 'Littleman' Lohr was also inspired by some drag coupes from back in the day and built one bad *** drag coupe the way he wanted it.

I'd be flattered if someone was inspired by what I built and took design cues to build his own car.

It's all GOOD !!!!...........I built DeathsDoorStep in my mind as I drove to go look @ the body....I did not build it after anything specific..but I love the experimental day's....My thoughts were.....if I was a young punk back when......How would have violated a Model A and what would scare dog's and small children and on coming traffic..That's pretty much it...It is being built in memory of my last step father Robert Busser, and once painted his name will be painted on the back....The car is not finished.....but has done something far more than I would have ever imagined...I have been asked for dimensions to the frame from all over the world...believe it or not, along with so many other questions about the car it still boggles my mind.....I think it struck a nerve with a few people......I would be not telling the truth if I were to say I was not hurt after I saw the first rendition of the car...and I knew it was being built...I answered their questions......It did hurt to see it thou.....only because I ***ociate DeathsDoorStep with my past stepfather and it was something to do with his p***ing that made me follow thru with my thoughts and build the Coupe the way I did.....But since then.....I get it.....it still takes determination...the will and drive to build something on your own....even if you use a blueprint or image or what ever to do so....People thrashing in their garages building something from the ground up...taking different flavors and ideas and building what strikes them in the heart...That's what it is all about....I still think I just got lucky........Hope this comes across ok...Littleman...by the way that Coupe Rules !!! When I look at this Coupe I see my stepfather.....eventhou it has it's differences between the two ,I still see him...and that's cool...it spreads.....this HotRodding thing...ADD...Something can alway's be made better!!!
