I flat blacked the Econoline in 1992 and the patina is really worn. I am tired of all the flat black cars. Have been thinking the old red primer and some scallops maybe, maybe a little metalflake, any ideas?

    Here's an idea.
Bright yellow and red would really shake off
    the flat black blues!

did it quickly, didn't feel like patching paint on the main body but I hit it with a little cheater flake, just added some noise to it for the effect. chopped the top a little as well. to me that recessed part for the rear window screams for a complimenting color. it may be a little too 70's/80's though color wise.

Cool, I have a friend with one with a chopped top, my head touches the roof, I'm too tall even with cut down seats.
    Scallops for sure tho.

Thats it, the red primer I wanted, and that simple scallop really works, hard to lower an econoline that much tho.
    Thanks,might do this one.

Almost two years later and I'm ready to hit the econoline---other things got in the way---Any one else have an idea--I'm sort of leaning to the red with the simple scallop---
