I want to have the package tray rolled and pleated on my 54 Bel Air, is there a "standard" width that is the norm for the rolls? Thanks.

54" is mostly industry standard on vinyl products.Carpet and pad are 30"

  3. Not sure here, but I think he's looking for the actual width of the "rolls" in the roll and pleat job.

  4. If it's what you're looking for, 2 1/2 inches is probably about right.

Two inch pleats are usually the standard for these types of jobs. Also depends on what is done in the rest of the interior. If the seats are pleated, measure those pleats and go with that width for your package tray.

  7. I couldn't argue with that. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I would think that anything narrower than 1 3/4 or wider than 2 1/2 might not look quite right.

I think 2" is what you should do. Both my cars have 2" rolls and they are just right. My convertible had some original stuff still on the seats. Done in the 60s. It was 2" and we copied the pattern.
