I own my own Business. For 1st time clients that have zero payment history, they pay 100% up front for small projects. For large projects, they pay 50% up front.

Retainers are the way to go, and never let them get behind on the retainer amount.

  4. Here we have to send a certified letter ,wait 30 days, send a sheriff to contact, wait 30 days,it is easier if the "customer/deadbeat" signs a repair order stating authorization to perform the agrred upon work and have statement with mechanics lien and storage after 30 days inactivity/completion
good luck - i hope it works out for you either way

or wrecker service and has remained unattended within a period of 60 days. A vehicle may be abandoned on a public highway or other public property for at least seven days; or left unattended continuously for at least seven days in a business or residential district.

lien sale vehicle, make sure you base it on daily storage from day one until NOW at 35.00 per day. No court will flinch at that.
