Stock Colors for a 1962 Buick 215 V8????

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows what were the stock colors used on the 215 V8 in a 1962 Buick Skylark??

I can't remember, I've seen em Green and Silver. Try CARS, Inc. @ www.oldbuickparts.com they sell the paints.

 

I have 2 of those cars and the block and heads are aluminum and NOT painted. I can look at other pieces for colors but the block and heads were not painted on either of mine or any others I have seen.

 

yeah i didnt think they ever saw paint.

 

So the correct answer would be....aluminum colored.

 

I have a 61 Skylark. Awesome little cars!! Anything made of Aluminum is unpainted, looks silver. All other components like valve covers and air cleaner are a siver textured paint.

 

I have 4 of them, none are painted.

 

I wouldn't dream of painting my 215... looks great in aluminum!

 

I agree with previous, that the valve covers and air cleaner are silver colored wrinkle finish. Block and heads are bare.
