Ok, I've got a Stromberg OF, I know it's an aftermarket T carb, but what year was it made for? any idea what one is worth?

The number on the body is-OF 243447

    Thanks,
    Bobby

Being an aftermarket carb, it fit most years of Model T. It will fit 1919 to 1927 for sure. They are tricky to tune, but when set, they work good. I copied a manual for the OF from somewhere on the internet---I think I still have it.

The Stromberg Model O was the standard Stromberg carburetor beginning in 1919, and was used up through about 1929 on some models. Stromberg made special versions of the O to retrofit other vehicles. The OF (there were two different models of the OF for Ford) was one of these. Prior to the OF, Stromberg offered an LF for Ford (at the time the L was the standard carburetor). In 1925, Stromberg offered an RF for Ford. These were aluminum instead of br***; and are quite rare today, as most have been eaten by the electrolysis bugs.

(Opinion) The OF is probably the very best carburetor that was ever "fitted to a T".
