My guess would be some kind of blower manifold. The plate on the bottom with the springs looks like a blow-off valve or something. but then again, I dunno. It's wierd whatever it is.

Looks like it accepts a 3-71 or 4-71 GMC blower.

I think it takes an intermeccanica (?) blower...I'd seen one on ebay a while back. Nice piece for a 6 banger!

Anyone here a railroad mechanic??? I know lots of guys in Winnipeg used to steal the blowers out of the carshops at Symington yard. They were installed in railliners - sort of a selfpropelled coach- and the older ones had sixes in them, but I thought they were all GMC's.

Isn't that basicly the same as a SCoT Blower?
Wasn't there a Italian version of that with Mertic Nuts and Bolts?

It looks like a blower manifold that was produced by Hunter Performance out of Texas, about 10-15 years ago.

They were designed to fit an early B&M blower.

Try and ring Jules Glogovscan on (713) 461-BLWN, and see if he still produces them.

Come to think of it, **** Larrowe also made one like it too, and he has a link on the Inliners Inletnational site.

I believe there was some bad blood spilt over this manifold, and the whole blower setup. I can't say what happened exactly, but something sits in the dimmer part of my memory about the venture. Being from Australia its hard to get to the bottom of things like that.
