Verne, I didn't catch the names of the guys I met from the Choppers but they were cool guys (you were probably one of them). Missed when they came by my race pit on sunday to check out the Willys. Was cool that you guys hooked up my son John, he's pretty stoked about his new shirt.

Over a hundred cars on Sat... all quality cars and killer people! Man, was it a blast!

 

You see this lake in the back ground?

The objective is to pack this parking lot with more killer race cars, CUSTOMS, hot rods, and vintage bikes, this way I can move the barn back onto the grass and in front of this lake. Then we can build a deck or dock off the back! PORKY'S!!!

It can happen... keep telling good people with good cars. People came in from all over this last weekend, Virgina, NY, Pa, Ct, Mass. Ca.

I'm not positive... but I believe this Saturday will be the last for awhile... not forever. Owner agrees we need to limit these so we don't spread ourselves too thin. So many people have been writing me freaking out, completely digging on it... but our personal schedules just never allow us to hit them all. So if we consolidate... we can make bigger, better parties. Man, this is a drag strip... but we sure make it a party.

Los Straight Jackets is going to be sick! Weird NJ is coming? So excited, I got some werid shit I been waiting show them, ha! Tell your friends!!!!

We have a bus of over 50 music fans coming from Hoboken, all great people, all family of friends, young and weird rock and roll heads. Its working! Party on Wayne!

Man, the boat... My friend faked his paperwork, put new tubes in his trailer tires so he was ready for the weekend, and when he went to go get it... his tenents had blocked his garage in and they were nowhere to be found....fuggg. I'll get him to bring it soon... We need that on the lake behind the bar!

 

I think you're instincts are good having fewer and better events, for sure you need to be back next summer for the Track's Nostalgia event .

On behalf of The Road Devils, thank you for having us, AND thanks to all the other clubs, especially those who made the trip from quite a distance to attend!
Mel, and company...I hope that they do continue, and a few, bigger events will probably prove to be the key, your right.
We are about an hour and a half, to three hours away depending on Turnpike traffic, but, we will continue to make every effort to attend, and help keep this thing alive...
Gotta save the $$$ right now to do some tuning/testing with the truck, and get my Ranchero out before fall, as well as keep piling up Model A parts for the next Hot Rod, but, I really hope you do another one before winter.
Maybe I'll drive the Ranchero up next time!

cool, the original has the engines behind the music, i quess some of the songs on it didn't pass youtube inspectors. haha
