what size, height, width, how thick, ect....who built it ....what motor, car ect....i guess in short, what's it tale to cool them..gotta get an idea of what i need for this 325.....didn't see it in the hemi tech search..........
on my 354 i had a friend who owns a radiator shop make it . used the oem top tank from the 29 model a , built the lower tank , reduced the height by 6" . he used a core that is 3 core thick , doubled up and pinched througout the core runners , this 354 will cruise at 55 mph about 165 degrees . the dimples in the runners slow the coolant flow , and the doubled up cores are amazing , i also had to my fan from 14" to 12" and it still cools great . most of the old hemis were known to run a little cool , im not sure about yours though . the radiator shop is in NEW CASTLE PA. and this guy is an artist , pm me and ill give you his # mopar210
29 model A...hard part is tucking it behind the topolino grille/nose piece...i can go about 18" up and 15 1/2" wide,,but i have room to go thick...4/5"+.....
Put the radiator in the back, I've seen that at Columbus and the guy's I talked to said it works for them. Good luck, Rags
buiilding a driver ,,don't really want to have all that heat right at my back side...and between the watts link, battery and gas tank, there ain't gonna be much room back there........
I'm using a griffin two row aluminum in my 40 ford to cool my 392 hemi it runs around 180 degrees here in Michigan even in traffic. I have a spare 4 row that came with my car the po had built for cooling a 331 hemi and I had it cleaned and tested at a rad shop if you can fit it in your car I'll give you a deal on it. I used it to run the cam in on my engine and it ran under 180 the whole time. Only reason I went with the aluminum is to get some weight off the front. pm me if you are interested.
I used a PRC Rad in my 29, behind a 33 ford truck grill thay was lowered about 5", 18" tall rad 2 core 1 or 1.5 inch tubes, 180 deg themostat, barely got above that even in extreme stop & go.
3 core cheap mustang radiator from Autozome for 120 bucks has worked fine for the last 3 years cooling my bored 331
Have a PRC alum. rad. 354 blown Hemi in 32 ford, 180 deg. no problems. The cooling system without heater takes 4 gallons of anti-freeze water mix. Ago
