I would be proud of that in my truck....especially if I did it.

I would be more proud than if I bought it from Fat Lucky. Is it as good as his...no...but you did it and I would take pride in that it looks better than some professionals

Looks pretty good to me, I've seen some professional jobs that didn't look that nice.

Yes , I would be proud of that . Upholstery is the only thing I don't do myself , but I wish I had the patience . Good for you.

I really don't think you can live with it, and I think you should give it to me. especially if it is under 48" wide. JK, I think it looks killer, nice job!!

Just wait til Tman gives his opinion... I think it's flat and has no moxy.. It just doesn't come right out and hit you in the gut like I wanted it too..It also looks a little pinkish to me..

Put it in something cooer than that mini van before you discard it. I think it looks pretty dang good. I'd put it in my car, if I did it myself.

I agree WTF is wrong with it? I see tiny things wrong with it but that will settle out once you start putting your *** in it.

    Don't change a thing........
What kinda car/truck is it goin' in?

If you look at pics for the 40's/50's and pay close attention to the upholstery you'll see that you have pretty much nailed it.

The standards were different back then; even in "high end" customs, it was common to see wrinkles around the corners and where the material folded under/around the frame and not stretch the material so tight it looks Cher's face after her 50th face lift.
Are the pleats individually stuffed or sewn through foam???

I had to fight like hell with the guy that did the upholstery in my A to leave a few wrinkles in...... I rather have your seat than mine.

Regardless< I think you did a great job.

Its better than I could do. But if you don't like it - redo it. Nothing is worse than having a part that bothers you everytime you get in the car.

For your first seat, it looks pretty darn good. Wear it out and do it again! :)

I was going to say I didn't like anything about it just to be an ***! Upholstery takes time in the seat to nail it, I plan on doing my '36 interior hope it turns out half that good. JMO

You could hire a lawyer to sue the guy who did it, & then hire a defence lawyer to protect yourself from the 1st one!;):D

Yeah yeah...fishing for compliments.:D The material looks a little too glossy for my tastes but that could just be the flash. The execution is right on for a 50s hotrod. IMHO
