i have a 1940 studebaker with a 1973 nova stub with drum brakes i would to put on disk brakes but nova and after market brakes moves the wheels out which i do not need a friend of mine told me the hats on s10 rotors do not stick out as far and wood move the wheels in about an inch or so has any body ever grafted s10 spindles on nova a arms can this be done
What is your life worth......Or the lives of who you hit when the spindle breaks...... It will be alot cheaper to get new wheels than a new car.......
safety "fng" you said "1940 studebaker" thats ok. but then you wrecked, with your "grafted" s10 ****. at least your asking, BUT ask a better question. that 40 doesnt need mentioned anymore with any of what you asked. hope this helps you
How is the wheel/tire clearance with the drum brakes? The stock disc set-up is 3/8" wider per side than the drum brakes
