Mebbe you can find a caricature at www.normsnews.com Someone had created a cloisonnae/hood ornament of him years back? His email address is listed too.I invited him to join the HAMB,so let's keep our fingers crossed he does? If you ever get to meet him, have a good dirty joke ready,he loves those....
"I invited him to join the HAMB, so let's keep our fingers crossed that he does". Norm on the HAMB?! Like icing on a cake!
Look at Rumpsville.com, it has a link to all Norm Grabowski stuff and has a caricature or two of him.
I took this picture of Norm when I was down there,.... maybe you could draw a cartoon from it,.... sorry for the serious look on his face. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . And thought you might get a kick out of this,.......
He signed this one for me in '93. I had to add "fix" it,because it is his image and you need to ask HIM to use it.
That image is on every package Norm sends out. It's on his return address label. I bet if it's not for commercial purposes, you could get him to send you one. Doc.
Weesner did a "FrankenNorm" piece, had Norm in the Cookie Car. Very cool. Got mine from Sacramento Vintage Ford
I met old Norm back in 1980 at Shep's Run, he is a real character for sure! One of the oldies but goodies of the sport! We need to cherish these guys while there're with us...
Norm's one of us! Got to meet him years ago and now he's one of my heros! Best wishes and good health and happiness to him and his family! Hey Norm, what're the two words you never want to hear in a men's room?
I was lucky enough to get the original Weesner Franken Norm. I absolutely love it. It's my second favorite piece of everything He has done. Norm has one of the prints in his living room. Doc.
had the pleasure to meet norm at louisville this year. I did some art work for him as a gift. he said if he was in my area that he wold stop by and check out my shop. i thought that would be cool if it happened. well last friday there was a knock at the shop door and i about fell over when norm walked in. (id show ya some pics but the big computer crash still has me screwed up) johnny
Went to a rod run in the early eighties at Lake Texoma and Norm was the evening entertainment. Not only funny as hell, but an amazing whistler. really, very entertaining. True character of our times.
