Event Coverage Thoughts of Bonneville Speed Week 2009 - PHOTOS from 2008!!

I took quite a few photos at Bonneville Speed Week last year (2008), but never posted them on here.

Well, with Speed Week just seven days away, I'm pretty damned excited about having the chance to go again this year... and my dad is going with me this time! We, along with Denise in Big Olds, and possibly another friend, will be there next Friday morning, August 7th.

Last year I drove my Galaxie out there, along with Megan (ChevyGirlRox) and Denise (Hotrodladycrusr) in Big Olds. We spent a few days there, drove down through the Grand Canyon, then quite a long trip East to the HAMB Drags. Big Olds had some rear end issues and my Galaxie had some clutch issues, but we all made it home safely.

When you guys are there take the time and stop by the Rainbow Casino and say Hi to John Hanson he's the manager at the Rainbow and a huge car guy.
Puts on a really nice show every Fathers Day weekend.
Tell him the folks in Kingman Arizona said hello.
He and his boy run on the salt........not a cool car, its a Honda but hey they held the record with it.
