My apoligies for the horrible pictures, these were sent to me by a friend that saw this out of town. She chose to take more artsy pictures of it than technical, but said she can talk to the people that own the land about it for me. I believe it's right around a '41, and some sort of GM product.

I think Oldsmobile, and you may have nailed the year.

Been finding alot of cars lately; found out how difficult it is to track down a lead  ! Also, I'm learning that everyone is "sitting on a gold mine". Today, I took a look at a rusted out '29 Studebaker that had about 2 sq. ft. of roof left and no frame/drivetrain/floor for $700.
I will be the first to admit, I'm still learning classic cars since I've been into OT cars for so long, so here's another "what is this" with even worse pictures!
I know it's a Chevy, I think it's a '55 because of the upright front windows, but the body line just behind the doors Really throws me off. It is a 2-door. The first 3 pictures are pictures I took a couple years back that are hardly usable, but the best thing I have. The third just shows that it has been moved 50 feet behind a barbed wire fence; I could see graffiti on it's side :(

    Any ideas on this one?
Still working on the guy with the '59 Checker and haven't gotten to take the few hour trip to look at the Olds; should be able to visit that in a couple weeks when I'm in that town. This one's about 45 minutes away from my house.

Stude 2-door station wagons are kinda neat looking, and far from common. I'd rather do that than a '40 Olds or a Checker.

  11. I'd jump on that Stude like a bum on a ham sandwich...

thats the one you want between the 2. If not, someone here will.

It's got character for sure, and I really like it. I called the number of the place that it's at and left a mumbling bumbling nervous message. It was a slow and basic message but very nervous and mealy mouthed.

Fellow wants $2500 for it. He has the title, but the floors are rusted out of it and it doesn't run. He claims that he gets calls on it all the time, but that everyone lowballs him.
