Any of you guys familiar with these Gran Cor flathead intakes? I've come up with a 3 duece but the center flange is for a 4 bolt base carburetor. Both ends take 3 bolt (97 or 94)? Appreciate any information you'd be willing to share.

Yep... that's a pretty rare one you got there... I've heard they aren't great performers, but they sure do look the part.

I usta have one of the 3-2's for a late flathead. The center carb was supposed to be one of the sideways Merc carbs I think. Or maybe an early 50's GM carb? I never used it and later sold it.

Now I have an early flatty Grancor 2-2, that looks kinda like an Edelbrock Super. Matches my early heads just fine.

My goodness, I have come to the right place! Thanks everyone. I have one of the intakes with the center carb being an old Rochester, I was always wondering "what the heck!" Two Stromberg 97's on the outsides. I just don't have the linkage. Bizarre, but kinda a funky set-up. Ryan, you say that they are kinda a let down as far as performance goes?

The fact that the Rochester carb fits is a coincidence. Stromberg made a WW series carb for the Stude and other brand engines that has the same 4 bolt pattern many years before the Rochester was available. I think the Merc carb has the same bolt pattern but I have no idea how the rear draft Merc carb would work as a center carb.
