Yes, the ribs were KILLER! . . . and the free beer wasn't too shabby either. And the highlight of the day was the quick blasts down the block with Helen. Nice!

Wish I could have hung out longer, but had to cut out to get back to the in-laws and keep wifey happy.

Thanks for getting my visor all swiss cheesed for me too. Can't wait to see how it looks on the car.

Thanks for a good time. There are some great projects going on in there. Good food, good bands, good burnouts, and good friends, it doesnt get much better than that.

 

We'd like to offer a HUGE thank you to Kevin, Chad, Rocco, Beth and everyone else at Hot Rod Ch***is & Cycle!!!

The anniversary party was a *****in' good time, well organized with excellent food, entertainment and fun. Cool cars and camaraderie at it's BEST. As always, the array of projects in this shop is AWESOME. Every time we walked through the shop yesterday, we found something new to feast our eyes on.

Kevin and Chad are big supporters of the HAMB and we're glad to be a part of anything they do.

Also, a HUGE thank you to "Back Seat Betty" for taking the time to give us a "check ride" in one of the coolest hot rods on the planet...and this was NO ordinary trip around the block! The view through the "dollar bill" chopped windshield, the smell of burnt rubber, the roar of a vintage poly through open headers coupled with WWII bomber nostalgia has been PERMENANTLY tattooed in my brain. We were both literally high on adrenaline and buzzing with shakes for several minutes after arriving back at HRCC! My wife and I talked about it all the way back to Indiana and I had a tough time sleeping last night. "Back Seat Betty" was a GRACIOUS host and gave LOTS of rides to many other guests...he's TRULY the epitomy of the traditional hot rod spirit! We hope to give back in the same way when our project is done!

I just wanted to say thanks to Kevin and to all that made it a great time! The trip home with a full tummy was a lil long, but had a blast !

Thanks for putting up with a guy from Dallas. It was great meeting up with everyone. Guess it was meant to be for my flight to get canceled. Just seeing Back Seat Betty and seeing the Hot Rods run was worth it. But all the good food and company was really great. Had a great time. See you all next time.
