I am in Kansas City Missouri, 3 exits from the airport on I29.Looking to see if theres anything going on here.Will be here for 4 months.only problem is we are working 6/12 hours. Sundays off.

 

When I get Ed Roth's Mega Cycle back from the interior shop ya can stop by and check it out! I'm 20 miles south of the city on 71

Turkey Creek Show on Sept. 12 in Merriam right off I-35.

 

Labor day weekend is Goodguys and Greaserama. Good shows to be at!

There always seems to be something going on in KC on the weekends. Go visit Pete & Jakes some saturday if you can. If Jerry thinks your cool, he might give you the tour.

 

If you are off on Sundays, you should hook up with our club los PUNK RODS and stop by our garage if you need a break and wanna get out of the 6/12 work scene. We are in the west bottoms of KC. I actually live on the north side of KC. Drop me a email if you are interested.
Ohhhhh and of COURSE.....GREASERAMA, don't let me be the one to say it is a hoot of a 2-day event with 650+ cars, 9 bands and art gallery and movies on the big screen at night (since my club hosts it), take gonmad and travisfromkansas' word as they have experienced the shindig. This will be our 9th year.

Go to ( ***ociated car clubs of kansas city ) websight and click on upcoming events in 2009 and it will list car shows and cruise nights. A great sight to visit. I also live north of the river by worlds of fun.

Ok, I'm getting hotrod with draws!! I have my truck for sale, but really thinking twice about getting rid of it.I WILL be getting up with ya'll about happenings going on in Missouri area.I might not be able to drive my ride as much as I want, but just knowing I have a sweet ride I love to drive just waiting on me, is like having a special girl waiting to make me happy!

 

Im about 3 hours away in McPherson but I've got a modified project that can always use a second set of hands and I can hook you up with a tour of McPherson college to see the only 4-year bachelors program for automotive restoration...

 

I have some pics of Greaserama past up on my site if you want to check them out. Hopefully I will be able to get there before Noon Sunday this year. It will be the first show I take my Galaxie to and my longest road trip with her to date.

 

I just asked about the Megacycle on the 60s/70s show car thread last night. A guy from Austin Texas put pictures on. WOW now this! Its only about an hour away from me.I have not seen it since 1967. I would love to come see it! Dennis
